Breast Cancer Now appoints BMB as creative agency

Breast Cancer Now, the leading breast cancer charity in the UK, has appointed BMB as its first brand marketing agency partner following a competitive pitching process. The Breast Cancer Now brand launched in October 2019 following the merger of two charities, Breast Cancer Now and Breast Cancer Care.

Raising our profile and becoming established as the ‘go to’ breast cancer organisation is paramount to us reaching everyone affected by breast cancer so that they know how we can support them ‘the whole way through’ and how they can support us to drive the change we want to see.

Rachael Franklin
Director of Fundraising, Communications and Engagement at Breast Cancer Now

BMB will embark on a long-term relationship with Breast Cancer Now to help significantly grow brand awareness and engagement, supporting the charity to deliver its new ‘Turning the Tide’ strategy. The charity has a bold vision – that by 2050 everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live and be supported to live well, and its new strategy to 2025 is about doing just that, every way they can. It’s designed to accelerate progress towards fewer cases, fewer deaths, and a better quality of life for everyone affected by breast cancer.

We’re delighted to be partnering with BMB to develop our new brand marketing strategy – we were hugely impressed by their expertise, understanding of the complex, sensitive nature of our work, and inspired by their ambitious and creative ideas around how we can build our brand to stand out in the sector – we can’t wait to get started!

We love talking to humans in all kinds of ways. Calls are brilliant (although some of the younger humans find it weird that you’d speak to someone using your actual voice when you could just WhatsApp or slide into their DMs). Everyone loves an email, obvs, particularly our new business human (Matt).
