The Chat
The Chat is the UK’s first group messaging drama series, written and created for Breast Cancer Now. With a gripping storyline brought to life by an award-winning cast, the drama plays out through voice notes, messages, videos and pictures sent between four close friends as they navigate an unexpected breast cancer diagnosis together.

In 2021 Rakie won a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress in Jimmy McGovern’s BBC drama Anthony. In 2020, she won a Black British Theatre Award for The Royal Court and National Theatre Wales production, On Bear Ridge. She can currently be seen on BBC iPlayer starring in The Pact.

Indira is known for her roles in Game of Thrones, Obi-Wan Kenobi and This Way Up. She won an Olivier Award in 2019 for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in Present Laughter at The Old Vic and starred in The Seagull alongside Emilia Clarke at the Harold Pinter theatre, London.

Claudie has most recently been seen reprising her role of Louise in ITV’s Manhunt opposite Martin Clunes. She has also starred in Flesh and Blood and Father Brown as well as films Pride and Prejudice and Gosford Park. Her theatre credits include Chimerica at The Almeida and Consent in the West End.

Kate is known for TV dramas including His Dark Materials, Life, Sanditon and Line of Duty. She also starred in the film Shaun of the Dead alongside Simon Pegg. In 2017, Kate co-wrote Channel 4 thriller Born to Kill starring Romola Garai and Daniel Mays for which she received nominations for a Royal Television Award and a British Screenwriter’s Award.
