A Jolly Safe Christmas
Innocent are notoriously excellent in social. Timely, reactive, always-on and a brilliant tone of voice… what’s more for an agency to add?
We were challenged with raising the peaks - making the moments that mattered most in the social calendar bigger, louder and more viral.

Conversation was our KPI, and Christmas was in our sights.

To mark the strangest Christmas in recent history, we created a faux children’s story book to answer the question on the lips of kids everywhere: how will Santa be able to visit despite lockdown restrictions?

Saviours of Christmas

The book was available to download from the innocent website and the kindle store, but we also turned it into a little film that ran on social. That's when things kicked off.

The campaign received over 2m views, increasing the brand’s social conversation by 456% and inadvertently kicking off a Twitter storm between Denise Welch and Jason Manford.

Spike in social conversation

We love talking to humans in all kinds of ways. Calls are brilliant (although some of the younger humans find it weird that you’d speak to someone using your actual voice when you could just WhatsApp or slide into their DMs). We also love an email, letter, carrier pigeons or feel free to pop in.
