Simon The Ogre
Holidays aren’t about buckets and spades or moussaka. They’re about human restoration. We wanted to show how Thomson – thanks to its carefully designed holidays - offers the kind of quality time that is the perfect antidote to the dehumanising grind of daily life.

To dramatise this process we took the character of Simon - who starts our epic 120″ spot as an Ogre - telling the emotive story of how he is transformed via the experience of a Thomson holiday into the best version of himself again.

We love talking to humans in all kinds of ways. Calls are brilliant (although some of the younger humans find it weird that you’d speak to someone using your actual voice when you could just WhatsApp or slide into their DMs). Everyone loves an email, obvs, particularly our new business human (Matt).
